Things are warming up slowly but the natural course of things soldiers on. These bulbs are in an area of Crab apples planted about 25 years ago. It’s a nice area; spring bulbs including as seen in the pic and Scilla and Fritillary. The areas is sown with a native meadow flowers so lots of summer interest, also you have got the flowers from trees in late spring, the fruits which are magnificent and the autumn colour of the trees. There’s a Larch root sculpture in the back ground as well; as well as the pretty stuff it’s great for a wealth biodiversity; some more welcome than others as we have our own mole!
